MACD

MACD stands for Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator, trader can add this indicator to their chart by right click the chart and select Study Config to open the study configure window first, then select the “MACD” from the study list and add it into the Studies In Chart field.

Moving Average Convergence Divergence Configure window allows user to modify the MACD chart, such as change the study period and lines’ color. User can open this Moving Average Convergence Divergence Configure window either by click the “Config” button or double click the study “MACD” under Studies In Chart section.

Explanation of Each Field

·         EMA Periods section allows user to modify the study periods for Moving Average Convergence Divergence.

Ø  LMA: Enter the study period for Long Moving Average.

Ø  SMA: Enter the study period for Short Moving Average.

Ø  Signal: Enter the study period for signal/histogram. 

·         Color section allows user to modify the associate field’s line style, line color, and line width.

·         Histogram: check off the box to allows user to also add the histogram to the chart.
